Ingredients:
- Oil - 2tbs
- Mustard seeds - 1/4tbs
- Channa Dal - 1/2 tbs
- Toor Dal - 1 cup (Cooked)
- Red Chilly - 1
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 2
- Green chilly -1
- Chilly Powder - 1/2 tbs
- Coriander Powder - 1 tbs
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tbs
- Salt
- Jaggery - a pinch
- Curry leaves
- Corriander Leaves
Instructions:
- In a kadai heat oil and add mustard seeds, channa dal, Red chilly, Curry leaves , Green Chilly, Asafoetida and saute well
- Add in onions and cook till it becomes translucent and add tomato and saute well
- Add chilly powder, coriander powder, sambar powder and add 1 cup of water
- Allow it to boil for 5 mins and add cooked dal
- Cover and cook for 2 mins Finally add a pinch of jaggery
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
