THENGAI PAAL SADHAM / COCONUT MILK RICE



Ingredients:
  • Jeeraga Samba Rice - 1 cup
  • Coconut Milk - 1 cup
  • Cinnamon , Clove , Cardamom - 2
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbs
  • Onion - 1 (large)
  • Green Chilly - 2
  • Mint leaves - Few
  • Cashew nuts - 7
  • Ghee - 2 tbs
  • Salt
Instructions:

  1. Heat pressure cooker and add ghee to it and roast the cahews
  2. Add Cinnamon , Clove , Cardamom and green chilly

  3. Saute well and add onions and giner garlic paste
  4. Then add thick coconut milk and 3/4 cup of water


  5. Add requied salt and allow it to boil
  6. Then add the soaked rice an cook in low flame for 7 mins



  7. Serve
