CURRY LEAF FISH FRY



Ingredients:
  •  Vanjiram fish / King fish - 1 kg
  • Shallots - 10
  • Curry leaves 
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbs
  • Chilly powder - 2 tbs
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbs
  • Pepper powder -  tbs
  • Lime juice - 2 tbs
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil - For frying
Instructions:

  1. Wash the fish pieces and marinate it with salt and turmeric for 5 mins
  2. In a blender add Shallots , Curry leaves , Ginger garlic paste , Chilly powder , Turmeric powder , Pepper powder , Lime juice and Salt
  3. Grind it to a paste  by adding very little water
  4. Once again clean the fish
  5. Apply the ground paste to the fish
  6. Let it marinate for 10 to 15 mins
  7. Heat a tawa and add iol
  8. Fry the fish pieces by covering the lid 
  9. Flip the sides untill its cooked

    Marinate fish with salt and turmeric
    Shallots , Curry leaves , Ginger garlic paste , Chilly powder , Turmeric powder , Pepper powder , Lime juice and Salt
    Grind to a coarse paste
    Apply all over the fish
    Heat a tawa add oil
    Place the fish on hot tawa
    Flip its sides
    Serve
