Ingredients:
- Mutton - 1/4 kg
- Seeraga Samba Rice - 1 cup
- Clove - 4
- Cinnamon - 2
- Cardamom - 4
- Onion - 1
- Ginger Paste - 1 tbs
- Garlic Paste - 1 tbs
- Tomato - 1
- Mint leaves - 1 handful
- Coriander leaves
- Red Chilly Paste - 3 tbs
- Curd - 2tbs
- Ghee - 2 tbs
- Oil - 3 tbs
- Water - 3 cups
Instructions:
- Take your ingreddients
- Heat a pressure cooker and add ghee / oil , cinnamon , clove , cardamom
- Add in a small amount of onions and saute till it becomes brown
- Add in ginger paste , garlic paste and onion , tomato and saute well
- Then add mint & coriander leaves and fry for a minute
- Add in red chilly paste , salt , mutton , curd and cover the cooker and pressure cook for 4 whistles by adding 1 cup of water
- Wash and soak the basmathi rice for 15 mins
- In a vessel add 2 cups of water , cardamom , cloves and cinnamon and allow it to boil
- Add the soaked rice and half cook for 5 mins and strain it
- Once the pressure releases add strained rice and remaining mint / coriander leaves and stir well and cover it with a lid
- For putting dum ,Heat a tawa and place the cooker in it and keep a bowl of hot water on the top of the plate
- Simmer the stove and cook in slow flame for 10 mins
- Then gently stir the rice
- Serve
