PALAK CHAPATHI



Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Palak - 1 handful
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic - 4 pods
  • Chilly powder - 1/4 tbs
  • Jeera / Cumin - 1/4 tbs
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tbs
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Water
Instructions:

  1. In a vessel add water and allow it to boil
  2. Roughly chop the palak leaves and add it in boiling water and leave for 5 min
  3. In a blender add palak , ginger , garlic , green chilly and blend to a smooth paste

  4. In a bowl take wheat flour , jeera , salt , chilly powder and garam masala
  5. Mix well.. Add oil and ground paste and add very little water
  6. Kneed to a soft dough
  7. Divide into equal portions and make it into balls
  8. Roll it flat
  9. Heat a tawa add chapathi and flip it
  10. Add oil and flip it again
  11. Serve
