SEMIYA PAYASAM




Ingredients:
  • Semiya - 1 handful
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Ghee - 1 tbs
  • Cashews -6
  • Raisins -6
Instructions:

  1. Take the payasam semiya and roast it in ghee for 2 mins

  2. In the same pan roast cashew and raisin

  3. In a sauce pan add water and allow to boil
  4. Add semiya and cook well
  5. Once it is half cooked add in cardamom and milk and stir well till its cooked completely
  6. Finally add sugar and roasted cashew and raisins
  7. Serve
