MUSHROOM PULAO




Ingredients:
  • Mushroom - 1
  • Basmathi rice - 1 cup
  • Cinnamon - 1
  • Clove - 2
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Onion - 1
  •  Green chilly - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste  - 1 tbs
  • Coconut milk - 1 cup
  • Mint leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Water - 1 cup 
  • Ghee - 2 tbs
  •  Butter - 1tbs (optional ) 
Instructions :
  1. Wash and Soak basmathi rice for 20 mins
  2. Heat a pressure cooker add in butter , cinnamon , cardamom and cloves ( You can also use oil instead of butter )

  3. Add chopped onions , green chillies ,  ginger garlic paste and saute well

  4. Wash the mushrooms and cut into pieces 
  5. Add the mushrooms , salt and mint and coriander leaves

  6. Cover and cook for 5 mins
  7. Now add soaked rice and add 1 cup of coconut milk and 1 cup of water



  8. Finally add ghee and cover the lid and cook for 10 mins in a medium flame


  9. I served with Gobi Manchurian
