CARROT PORIYAL

  CARROT PORIYAL

Preparation Time : 5 minutes

Cooking Time : 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS 

  • Carrots - 2
  • Onion - 1
  • Red chillies - 3
  • Coconut - 2 tbs
  • Coriander leaves 
  • Salt
  • Water - 5 tbs
  • Oil

TO TEMPER

  • Mustard - 1/2 tbs
  • Urad dal - 1/2 tbs
  • Bengal gram - 1/2 tbs
  •  Curry leaf

PROCEDURE

     1. In a kadhai add oil and the tempeing items
     2. Then add fine chopped onions and red chillies and saute for a minute  
     3. Add the carrots and salt and cover and cook for 2 minues
     4. Then add little water to it and cover and cook for 5 minutes
    5. Finally add shredded coconut and coriander leaves. Give a good stir
    6. Serve
