IDLY PODI





Ingredients:
  • Orid dal - 300 gms ( 3/4 cup )
  • Bengal gram - 100 gms (1/4 cup )
  • Red chilly - 15 - 20
  • Curry leaves - a handful
  • Asafotedia
  •  Salt
Instructions:

  1. In a pan add orid dal and roast well
  2. Roast channa dal ( bengal gram )
  3. Add in red chillies and curry leaves. Roast till red chilly becomes crispy
  4. Transfer to a plate and allow it to cool
  5.  In a mixee jar add curry leaves and red chilly and grind
  6. Then add channa dal and orid dal by adding salt  and asafotedia
  7. Cool down completely by spreading it in apaper
  8. Store in a air tight container
