SIMPLE RAVA UPMA

  Prapartion Time : 10 min
  Cooking Time : 10 min

INGREDIENTS

  • Rava / Semolina - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Red chilly - 1
  • Tomato - 4 pieces (optional)
  • Water - 1 1/2 cups
  • Oil
  • Ghee - 1 tbs
  • Cashews - 4
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt

TO TEMPER

  • Mustard -  1/4 tbs
  • Urad dal - 1/4 tbs
  • Bengal gram - 1/2 tbs
  • Curry leaf

PROCEDURE

  1. In a kadhai add ghee and roast the rava for 2 mins and transfer to a plate
  2. In the same  kadhai add ghee , cashews and the tempering items
  3. Add green chilly , red chiily , onion and tomato and sauté well
  4. Add salt and water and allow it to boil 
  5. Once its boiled add the roasted rava and add oil to it
  6. Stir continuously untill its cooked well
  7. Finally add coriander leaves and serve
