Preparation Time: 4 hours
INGREDIENTS
- Idly rice - 1 1/2 cups
- Orid dal - 1/2 cup
- Toor dal - 1/2 cup
- Green gram dal - 1/2 cup
- Red chillies - 10
- Curry leaf - a bunch
- Asafoetida - 1/2 tbs
- Salt
METHOD
1. Soak idly rice and dals separately for minimum 3 hours
2. In a grinder add the rice and grind for 5 minutes then add dals
3. Add water often and grind smoothly
4. Finally add red chilly and curry leaf in a mixee and add it to the batter
5. Then add salt and asafoetida while making dosa
