Ingredients:
- Mutton - 1/2 kg
- Shallots - 15 to 20
- Cloves - 3
- Cinnamon - 2
- Cardamom - 2
- Saunf - 1/2 tbs
- Pepper corns - 1/2 tbs
- Tomato - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbs
- Green chilly - 2
- Curry leaf
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbs
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tbs
- Coconut - 4 tbs (grated)
- Salt
- Oil - 3 tbs
Instructions:
- In a pan add oil and saute shallots for 3 mins
- In a blender add fried shallots , ginger garlic paste , clove , cinnamon , pepper annd fennel seeds and grind to a smooth paste
- Heat a pressure cooker add oil , cinnamon , clove , saunf , shallots , chilly and curry leaf and saute well
- Add in washed mutton pieces then add turmeric powder , coriander powder and salt . Cook till mutton leaves water
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook till tomato turns mushy
- Add the ground paste and saute till its raw smell leaves
- Add a cup of water ( 250 ml) and pressure cook for 5 whistles
- Once its cooked add coconut paste and allow it to boil for 5 mins
- Finally add coriander leaves and serve
